PitBull - A firewall around every process ...

The QTrust Server is internally designed by the secure application environment from Argus Systems Group. This Trusted Operating System (TOS) technology known as PitBull LX is the substrate for the QTrust Server. All security applications are implemented in separate compartments which can only communicate in a predefined and limited way. Within these compartments access is only possible Protection with QTrust Server to predefined resources. Thus attacks against the QTrust Server and the services within are prevented and should they occur are fully controlled. A hacker who manages to obtain access to the system through a specific service will discover how limited his influence is on the other services running on local the system or within connected networks.
All services are separated from each other as if everyone is running in its own separate networking segment (DMZ) secured by its own firewall.
